The blog got a make over. . . did you notice? Aren’t we looking Christmasy? (Spell check says Christmasy isn’t a word. What does spell check know? I’ve added it to the dictionary. From this day forward “Christmasy” will no longer appear with the nasty red line under it. In my world. . . Christmasy is a word.)
But, I digress.
Since the blog got a make-over it only seems appropriate to begin this week with some Running Chatter. . .

1. DTR
It’s official. Running Chatter and I. . . we’ve committed. We’ve defined the relationship. For a year and a half, we’ve flirted. We’ve had a casual relationship defined by and mediated by Blogspot. It’s been a good relationship. So good, in fact, that this weekend we took the plunge. . . runningchatter.blogspot.com has transitioned to runningchatter.com. Yep, it’s mine now. Running Chatter is mine.
What does this mean? Um, I wish I could tell you. Truthfully, it means that Chad was at a conference last week and attended several seminars about social media. He thought it it would be a good idea to make Running Chatter my own. Who am I to argue? Sure, I’d love to have my own URL. . . What’s a URL? I can’t be sure, but from now on I think I’m going to introduce myself with something like Hello, my name is Summer and I have my own URL. I think it sounds cool.
You think I’m joking. Maybe I am. . . maybe I’m not.
In all seriousness, Running Chatter has changed me. More so, this community has been a part of that change. Thank you. Thank you for your comments–I never tire of them. Thank you for following–knowing you are reading keeps me inspired.

2. How is Sheila?
Why, I’m so glad you asked. . . She’s great. She and Meadow are tight. . .
Chanelle takes very good care of her and can’t wait until Shelia has hair like Meadow. . .
We’re quite certain that they are going to be life-long friends. At this point, Sheila is still a bit bigger than Meadow, but Meadow is quickly catching up.
Yes, they like to dress alike, too.

3. The best part of waking up. . .
Okay, maybe not the *best*, but it’s up pretty high on the list. I’ve never been a coffee drinker. I couldn’t stand the taste. After Meadow was born, though, I wanted to give it another try. Now, I live on the stuff. I can be found sipping on this aromatic dark brew all day long.
I fear I might be addicted. I should stop, I know, but I just can’t. Perhaps I should just cut back. Right now is just not a good time. I’m too tired. Maybe next week month. Maybe in the New Year?
Maybe not.

4. Winter
Finally, the weather has changed. It’s c-c-c-cold outside. What does that mean? One of my favorite things. . .
Tights and Leg Warmers! Little feet sticking out of cute leg warmers just make me happy. Fun tights wrapped around the legs of my little girls fill me with joy. Yep, it truly is the simple things.
In fact, I recently found leg warmers at Target for “big” girls. I was so close to purchasing them. My sister deterred me, though. I’m thinking I need to get them. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? “Fame! I’m gonna live forever!”

5. Future Blogger
This one is for my friend over at Sassy Times, who got this onesie for Meadow before we knew Meadow was Meadow. I just wanted her to know that Meadow is loving her Future Blogger shirt and we are quite certain she is going to have her own blog someday. How fun will it be for her to have this picture when that day comes?

6. Excuse My Dust
Please excuse me while I am still attempting to get the “new” blog in order. It seems I lost my entire blog roll when we transitioned the blog. Please let me know if you are not in the blog roll and should be. My sleepy brain did the best it could to recall everything, but I’m sure I’m missing some.

There you have it. The first Running Chatter as it’s own URL. Yeah, that makes us cool. . . or something like that.
Happy Monday Friends!
awww…soo jealous that you have such cute girls to dress up in leggings!! love stripes! 🙂
Hanna Andersson was my favorite of my newborns clothing…
congrats on the new URL! super idea!
Trader Joes coffee I just discovered last week (simply Joe medium brew-yummmy)…I love their hazelnut creamer! Try it- it's simply divine!! 🙂 welcome to my world of coffee- started drinking it as a nanny to a newborn and haven't looked back since! one of my favorite things that I simply couldn't live without!! 🙂
Congrats on the url…it totally sounds cool.
Love the shirt…and it appears she is smiling in that photo. Too cute!
Um, I loved this post.
1. Congrats on the domain. YOU, my friend, are the REAL DEAL. (Not that you weren't before, you're just official now.
2.) When I saw the photo of Sheila and Meadow, I laughed. Especially because you wrote, "How is Sheila?" and not, "How is Meadow." I heart you.
3.) I LOVE legwarmers. I sent Lila to school wearing them last week because it was cold (shush, it was) and I did so based solely on the fact that I loved the photos of Chanelle wearing hers.
uh, do not tell sheila (or chanelle) this, but she has got NOTHING on the cuteness of Meadow. loved the little legs and little toes…my heart was warmed! can't wait to see the little ones (sheila included) in person.
congrats on the URL! and poor chanelle — she's gonna be waiting a while for sheila to get some hair (unless mommy gets creative during the middle of the night). 🙂
LOVE LOVE LOVE that you got your own URL it means I can now comment from work!!! Yes that is selfish but I can't tell you how many times I read a post in reader and desperately wanted to comment and could not!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
